When everything feels harder
Maybe you're keeping up on paper—but it doesn't feel that way.
You're tired. Your capacity feels low. Work, family, meals, exercise, and everything else compete for energy you don't have enough of.
You know you'd like to feel stronger and healthier, but another rigid meal plan or unrealistic workout routine isn't what you need.
You might recognize some of this
You get through what needs to get done, but there isn't much left afterward.
Plans work until real life happens.
There's endless advice about food and fitness, but very little of it feels personal.
More strength. More confidence. More energy. More ability to participate in life.
A different destination
The goal isn't perfection. It's becoming more capable.
Build the energy and physical capacity to participate in life instead of constantly trying to catch up with it.
Understand how to eat and train around your body, your routine, and your personal goals.
Stop relying entirely on outside motivation and start building habits around the reasons you genuinely want to change.
The Alyssa Health approach
AHLasting change usually doesn't come from someone telling you what you're supposed to care about.
Alyssa's coaching starts by understanding what matters to you.
What do you want more energy for?
What do you want your body to be capable of?
Who do you want to show up for?
Together, those answers become realistic nutrition and fitness goals—and a plan that works within the life you're actually living.
The strongest motivation comes from understanding what you value and why it matters to you.
Motivation becomes much more powerful when health stops being the goal and becomes the tool that helps you reach the things you actually care about.
Strong enough for real lifeWhy I do this
When my kids were both under two, I felt like I'd lost a version of myself.
I was exhausted, overwhelmed by my to-do list, and had very little capacity left for the people and experiences I cared about.
I remember my husband suggesting we go for a hike—and realizing I didn't even want to be outside enjoying something I once loved.
I was tired. I didn't feel well. And life had slowly become something I was trying to survive rather than fully participate in.
Understanding what was happening with my health changed the direction of my life. I started learning about nutrition and fitness—not as another thing I was supposed to do, but as a way to regain the energy and capacity I'd lost.
A few years later, my husband convinced me to try CrossFit.
I went in kicking and screaming.
“There is no way I'm ever going to enjoy this,” I remember thinking.
Eight years later, I'm still training.
Not because fitness became the center of my life, but because of what it gives me outside the gym: the ability to show up for the people I love and the life I want to live.
That's what I want coaching to give my clients too.
